What a whirlwind 24 hours.... I was honoured to receive my first DD with "Spellbound", so have a number of new watchers to welcome to this journal!
Also a special thanks to Sara =xthumbtakx who suggested Spellbound, and to Trevor who featured it ^trevg.

I also wanted to quickly mention a simple tutorial written by =o0oluxo0o on the Nik Software "ColorEffex3"
I often get asked what software I use. I use Lightroom to organise my photos and to do the early processing on the raw files as well as the final step of exporting to jgps and prints. Photoshop for more advanced sharpening, cloning and processing. And more recently I have added the Nik suite of software. I have found that I can often accomplish tasks quite simply with this software. It is quickly becoming one of my preferred tools. My favourite filter from ColorEffex is the darken lighten centre- it creates a subtle vignette with the added advantage of being able to place the centre of the vignette on the subject of your choice. This helps draw the viewers eye to that subject. So just thought I'd share the tutorial for those of you who may be interested.

Hope you all have a great week!
